As its Easter time, I ask Simon Gee if he’s religious. He is adamant that he isn’t, and yet he goes on to tell me the story of how, from a fairly wayward life, he longed for something more, and found Jesus. This was not through doing all the correct church ritual, or even reforming and being morally good. It was an understanding that Jesus, a person in history who was crucified and was seen again after his death,( and this is historically verified,) was actually the Son of God and now can have a relationship with anyone who wants Him. Yes, somewhat of a mystery, but Simon is a down-to-earth business man who works in the property market. He has two sons, rides his bike wherever he can and he appears quite credible.
