Now have you ever wondered what sort of person would choose to be a clown for his profession? Well, Elspeth has been talking to one – Neil Wilkin of St Albans! Neil, as a children’s entertainer, includes acting as a clown, along with juggling, story telling, puppeteering and miming. However, you will find he works with a slightly different mind set. Working with his wife Hazel, as well as getting his audience really involved and making them chuckle and even shed a tear or two, he gets over a Christian point. Not a slap-bang hit-you-over-the-head sort of point, but one that is subtle yet clear enough to get through to his young audiences of children and teenagers. Neil and Hazel travel all over the country and but are firmly based here in St Albans.
