Sarah Keeling is excited about her role as Curator of the St Albans Museum & Gallery, right in the centre of the town of St Albans.
Elspeth, in her One to One, discusses with her the change from a static but well–loved museum on Hatfield Road, to the changing displays in the current building both local and national. What’s more, there are treasures that reside somewhere in the city which have yet to be brought to public notice.
Sarah tells of the great increase of visitors, and the appreciation of how the building, which was mainly the court house at one time, has been skilfully adapted and changed to run a series of fascinating displays showing different aspects of the history of the city.
