Can you help? – 3D print for NHS, mask appeal continues; furloughing explained

The appeal for PPE continues. If you are a business or individual that has any FFP3 masks that you could donate to NHS staff, please contact Dr Mike Smith at the Maltings Surgery on maltingssurgery@nhs.net
He is coordinating the donation effort and distributing to other NHS services around the area.

Mike also describes how you can help 3D print PPE – if you have access to a 3D printer please download the model file from here:
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-prusa-protective-face-shield-rc2 and contact Mike to arrange delivery to him when they are printed.

Our legal correspondance Michael Labrum gives us an explainer on “furloughing” – a word that many of us will have never heard before a week or two ago. If you or someone you know is being furloughed then this is some really important information that picks through the government information.

If you would like advice from Michael, he can be contacted about his services on MJL@labrums.co.uk.

Matt and Laura from the Herts Ad share some local news stories and you can get up-to-date information about coronavirus in the local area on their dedicated blog too.
