Updates on using GP surgeries during COVID-19

While shops have started opening up again, GP surgeries are still operating quite differently to what we might consider ‘normal’. Dr Richard Pile tell us the latest news on what to expect if and when you might have to attend a surgery.

He gives an insight into the very new information that is a drug that improves recovery rates in some severe COVID-19 patients, as well as explaining what kind of hospital referrals are returning.

Some people are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons. A useful resource has been created to help mitigate this issue. The posters give other people an indication why one might not be worn so they don’t have to explain themselves constantly. You can get to the resource on the keepsafe website. Dr Pile notes that GPs do not issue exemption certificates.

Danny and Sam mention ‘friend of the show’ Christopher Aikman and his cooking antics, you can watch his instagram stories and see for yourself: aikmanwritesthings
