Re-opening St Albans’ food & drink venues, Twelfth Night Review and look out for chalk art on your walk

With recent announcements from the Government, Becky Alexander talks with Danny about the 4th July and beyond. They discuss the ability of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars to open under such guidelines and where the difficulties lie.

Harpenden Farmers Market has reopened and some local businesses are providing takeout services or outdoor eating. These include a BBQ on offer from Lussmans, lovely ice-cream from Darlish Outdoor and the newly opened Cha & Nasta that is located on Hatfield Road near St Peter’s Street. Follow Becky’s Instagram ‘Packed With Good Things’ for more about her work.

Susie Wyeth from the Theatre Show pops by to share her thoughts on the Maltings Theatre’s online offering of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. The run for this show has been extended and more information can be found here.

Danny is also joined by Zoe Andrews this week to tell us about how she has been raising money for Mind in Mid Herts. She has been creating some fantastic chalk art all around St Albans, you can find out more, how to get involved and see some of the art on her Facebook page.
