I’m sure you’ve heard someone say “Well, Mrs. G… she’s such a good person, always helping down at the foodbank. A real Christian, she is”, or, ”Old Doug Freemantle, he’s so mean, but he is religious. He goes to church every Sunday.” I’m questioning the understanding that if you are helpful and kind, ie. good, or if you are very religious, by going to church a lot, whether you are really a Christian. In other words, in examining six fallacies I’ve picked out, I’m presenting what I see as a real Christian today.
