Clare Hobba brings us a couple of winter themed books to get us through the cold, dark, maybe even snowy nights! She has picked The Wolf Border by Sarah Hall (2015) and Pine by Francine Toon (2020) which was shortlisted for the Bloody Scotland Crime Debut of the Year. One more suggestion is Under a Pole Star by Stef Penney (also The Tenderness of Wolves) which was shortlisted for the 2017 Costa Novel Award.
